Chapter IV - Absolute Freedom

1. Success goes through mastering our way of life, of the auxiliary means, of notions, of simplifying and reaches as far as consciousness.

2. Through the transition from one to another we are approaching the main reason.

3. Practice and methods are not the true evolution of the organism but they help eliminating the obstacles.

4. The organism has appeared as a result of self definition/devision.

5. Despite the fact that organisms differ outwardly from one another they are identical at their base.

6. The one that is formed by meditation gets freed from impressions and hidden traces.

7. Those that have complete control over themselves consider their actions as flawless whereas others define their actions as wrong, right or they hesitate.

8. This is where instincts and gifts come from. They are needed in order to invoke repetition of the progress of the results of our actions.

9. Despite the difference in shape, time and place there is a link between memory and what causes repetition of the progress of the results of our actions.

10. They have no beginning same as the eternal striving after life and happiness.

11. Their development is based on causes, consequences, doer and aim but they will not develop if there is no base.

12. Past and future have their own meaning same as qualitative determinations which have different directions in time.

13. The qualitative determinations are hidden or manifested and they belong to the essence of the three states.

14.
Truth becomes visible only when we are ready for inner transformations.

15. There is a difference in clarity of seeing and understanding the elements of truth; this clarity depends on how close we are to truth.

16. Whether truth will motivate us to look for it depends on whether it will influence us.

17. If truth has no influence on us that does not mean that truth does not exist.

18. The way mind functions can always become known to its possessor – the unchangeable spirit.

19. Mind cannot cognize itself because it is a means in itself.

20. That is why it is impossible for the mind to cognize things individually.

21. If we let ourselves rummage into the contents of other people’s memory then we might start accepting the alien things. If we accept only part of them (and these are programmes and information) this will lead to their mixing together with our own things in the memory which will inevitably cause disturbance in our life.

22. When the mind is freed from the influence of events, it can use its supreme intellect and reflect its form.

23. If mind can reflect the cognized and the cognizer then it becomes omniscient.

24. If mind reflects on infinitely large number of impressions it starts functioning for other people and begins performing alien functions.

25. If we recognize the difference then we will no longer have any doubts as to out existence.

26. Then we will begin to differentiate (recognize) and we will start striving for absolute freedom and independence.

27. Impressions can become obstacles on the way of reaching this state.

28. Eliminating them, which consequently leads to eliminating the causes for misfortunes, will help us reach absolute freedom and independence.

29. Being impartial to supreme achievements (which results from being able to recognize) will let us reach complete consciousness. Our virtues will remain pure.

30. And then we will free ourselves from motives and misfortunes.

31. After that there will be no obstacles for our ability to recognize, it will become limitless and there will be too little left to be learnt.

32. As a result existence of states will come to an end because our final aim will be achieved.

33. Changes that exist in relation to the instant of time represent the sequence.

34. We will be able to achieve absolute freedom and the power of our mind will come back to its essence when we eliminate these changes in reverse sequence and when states are devoid of any striving for action.
